On September 6, the Hurun Research Institute released the Hurun Global Venture Capitalists 2022 Half-Year Report, a list of VC institutions that invested in the most unicorn enterprises and gazelle enterprises in the world as of June 30, 2022. The number of unicorn enterprises and gazelle enterprises represents a city's innovation capacity and entrepreneurial ecology integrity. GP Capital was ranked 103rd in the report.
A total of 121 VC capitalists were included in the list, with an average age of 26. 86 (71%) of them were founded in the U.S. and 25 (21%) in China. The Hurun Research Institute had previously released the Global Unicorn Index 2022 Half-Year Report and the Hurun Global Gazelle Index 2022 Half-Year Report, and then compiled the Hurun Global Venture Capitalists 2022 Half-Year Report based on the number of VC-invested enterprises in these reports.
