Typhoon Hagupit is about to affect Shanghai on August 4. Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, led a team to the reconstruction site of SIG Building to inspect the typhoon and flood prevention and safety work.
After inspecting the project safety management of SIG Building, SIG's leaders spoke highly of the safety work on the reconstruction site of the building. As the building is located in an important area of the Bund, we should continue attaching great importance to work safety, firmly establish red line awareness and bottom line thinking, maintain a strong sense of urgency and responsibility, and practically perform the responsibility of work safety; should implement the measures for the safety management of projects in progress based on the requirements of strict and practical prevention; and should, in light of the work actualities of summer flood and typhoon prevention, prevent and control sources of danger in extreme weather and check key sources of danger, said Yu. The general contractor and other constructors should seriously perform duties and ensure the construction quality and safety of the building based on the requirements of construction supervision.
